Little Ashes is a 2009 Spanish-British drama film, set against the backdrop of Spain during the 20s and 30s. The movie is about the young life and loves of artist Salvador Dalí, filmmaker Luis Buñuel and writer Federico García Lorca.
The movie stars Robert Pattinson as 18-year old Salvador Dali, Javier Beltran as poet Federico Garcia Lorca, and Matthew McNulty aspiring filmmaker Luis Buñuel. ogether they form the nucleus of the most modern group in Madrid.
