Brokeback Mountain. Love is a force of nature.
Brokeback Mountain is the story of ranch hand Ennis del Mar (Heath Ledger) and rodeo cowboy Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal), two young men who meet and fall in love on the fictional Brokeback Mountain in Wyoming in 1963. It is based on the Annie Proulx story about a forbidden and secretive relationship between two cowboys and their lives over the years.
The movie was directed by Taiwanese director Ang Lee and has won several awards which include 78th Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay (Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana) and Best Original Score (Gustavo Santaolalla).
